Easy To Use
Our service is designed to manage all the technical complexity of digital signing, so you can focus on your business process
A single Command Line Interface (CLI), callable from every stack, manages the signing process.
All the complexity of getting the green check is bundled in our service: you provide a PDF and an API key, and we handle the rest.
The only thing we send to our server is an SHA-256 digest of your PDF (which we compute for you) and an authentication token. Your document and its metadata remain secure with you.
Whether you use our certificate or yours, we keep it safe for you using state of the art security practices.
How the signing process works
We make it easy to sign your PDFs by using our CLI and an API Key.
On your machine, the Command Line Interface (CLI) prepares the PDF for signing, invokes our API, and then applies the signature to the PDF automatically.
Because it’s a self-contained CLI, it’s easy to use with any stack: Node, Java, Python, even shell scripts can invoke it as a part of your existing process.
However, if you prefer to manage the PDF manipulations yourself, you can use our API.
- We manage all the complexity of:
- 🔐 Security
- We run our systems inside highly secure environments
- 💯 Availability
- We manage failover by having redundant environments in separate data centers
- 📜 Certificate management
- We acquire valid certificates from our partners and renew them for you
- 🔑 Key management
- The private key material never leaves our Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
- 🧱 CMS construction
- We’ve worked through the many details needed to build a CMS that’s recognized as valid by Acrobat
- ⏱️ Timestamping
- If needed, we can apply a timestamp from a TSA. Default service is our system’s timestamp
